Water on earth most likely came from an ice comet that got caught in earth's gravity to melt and flood the earth. Water always flows to lower areas. The trillions of gallons of water in the ocean is very heavy and packs a lot of pressure on the crust, but it also penetrates the crust because it is water. The enormous weight of the oceans on the lower elevations of earth-crust combined with water penetration capabilities and buoyancy to particulate matter with ocean currents is a very likely mechanism which explains why only the lower ocean crust areas spread so easily to leave the upper elevation continents intact. The growing earth hypothesis is very possible. I plan on doing my own simulation of this more accurately.

I have a challenge for you: map out/animate, the physical logic of oceans floor mountains, volcanos, apparent subduction zones etc , as they evolved over time.. I try mentally to do this myself and just get swamped.

Hawaiian-Emperor Seamount Chain dates back to 81 million years (Detroit Seamount up top). Bend in chain dates to 47 million years. So, Emperor Chain formed 81-47 million years (depicted in light green-yellow) & Hawaiian Chain formed 47-0 million years (depicted in orange-red). I presume hot spot has remained at 19.47 degrees latitude (same as Olympus Mons on Mars and Red Spot of Jupiter). Growth of earth 81-47 million years (light green-yellow) pushed Pacific crust northward over hot spot and then as Pacific crust growth accelerated in southeast (orange-red) Pacific crust movement shifted northwest over hot spot. Or so I would speculate.

The moon rings like a bell when struck. This indicates that its hollow. The continental crust is thicker on the far side than on the near side. If the moon's shell is thicker on the near side (from earth's gravity) then the moon's gravity would be higher on the near side. Then the moon's continental crust would be thinner on the near side. There are no seas on the far side because when the moon inflated the splitting of the crust was only on the near side.

I am looking at my subscription list, and I am surprised that Neal Adams uploaded these videos recently. It is because when I saw and subscribed to his channel back around 2007 or 2008, this channel was about the idea that the Earth started smaller, and it is getting bigger. There are some very serious issues with that weird idea, but never mind about that. In later years since then, this channel did not post much videos, but I noticed recently that this channel is making more videos. These videos are about something very different, which is the artwork of comics.

My favorite piece of work by Neal was the cover of Superman #317. I buy that issue when ever I see it 😀😀

It seems that mid ocean ridges surrounding large islands like Antarctica and Greenland show that the sea floor spreading was caused by the underlying oceanic crust being stretched in all directions as the plate enlarged.
